Our mission is to protect and improve the lives of the homeless, and neglected small dogs in Southeastern WI,
and to place them in permanent, loving homes.
We are a group of volunteers in Wisconsin who saw the need for a group dedicated to helping small and senior dogs that find their way to our shelters. We believe that foster based rescue is the only way to help the dogs that we take in. All the dogs are kept in private foster homes located in SE Wisconsin. Foster homes provide a loving, safe, clean environment in which the dog can decompress. During their time in foster we are able to find out more about the dog's personality, likes/dislikes, help with potty training, evaluate and/or treat medical/behavioral issues. The information we gather from in-home foster care is very critical in making better matches with potential adopters, ensuring our dogs live longer in loving adoptive homes. Before we set up an appointment for you to meet a dog in foster you must fill out a dog adoption application or have an approved application on file (within the last year).
As we are an all volunteer based organization, and most of our team is still working day/night jobs, we ask that you give us 48 hours to process your application.
